Scholarship Fund Giving

Scholarships are the lifeblood of our KCC student base. Without important scholarship funds, many of our students wouldn’t be able to get the Christian education they need to enter their chosen field. At KCC, our Presidential Scholarship Fund provides a financial base for scholarships and grants awarded to potential and current students. These funds are used to recruit future students and to assist current students with their college expenses.

Within the Presidential Scholarship Fund, KCC offers the following scholarships:

• Presidential Gold and Silver Merit Scholarships – Offered to high school graduates, these annual awards of up to $2,500 are based on qualifications and maintenance of a certain GPA.
• Morey Shaver Scholarship – This scholarship is needs-based and grants $2,000 per year. Recipients must carry a minimum of 12 hours per semester and live in the KCC dorm.
• Pastor’s or Administrator’s Recommendation Scholarship – Recipients of these awards receive $500 per semester they are enrolled as full-time students.
• Buddy System Scholarship – Students who recruits another student to enroll at KCC will receive a 50% tuition discount. The recruited students will also receive the same discount. (Restrictions apply.)

While KCC hosts fundraising events throughout the year to accumulate student scholarship funds, we welcome and appreciate gifts at any time during the year.
