Over 2,000 years ago on a cool, starry night at the outskirts of Bethlehem an angel announced the birth of our Savior and a heavenly host proclaimed to the shepherds “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). This was a welcome message in the Roman empire that was full of crisis, conflict, and unrest. It is a welcome message for us in 2020 — also a year of crisis, conflict, and unrest. In the midst of turmoil, let us turn to the Prince of Peace this Christmas season.
This school year has been different for sure: from wearing masks, to quarantines, to physical distancing, to adjustments to our school calendar. The year 2020 will be long remembered. Through all of this we have still experienced the Lord at work on our campus. Thank you for your support this year as you partnered with us train more world-changers and make an eternal impact. Karey and I, and the entire team at KCC and OCS, would like to wish each of you a Merry Christmas as we celebrate the Prince of Peace in our lives!
