Educational Rights

The college adheres to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (Buckley Amendment), which guarantees students the right to know what information the college maintains about themselves and the right to ensure the ac- curacy of that information. Students also have the right to know who has access to les of information and for what purpose, and the right to limit the amount of information given. (See Student Handbook for more information.) In most cases, students may instruct the college concerning the distribution of their personal information outside the college.
