Articulation, Transfer, and Partnership Agreements

Kansas Christian College has developed a variety of agreements with other schools to help students fulfill God’s calling on their lives. Those include agreements to transfer into KCC, transfer to other colleges after completion of their degrees, and partnerships with various groups offering unique programming opportunities. Below is a list of agreements that KCC has in place:

Barclay College Master’s Degree Agreement

KCC students who have completed undergraduate studies at KCC may enter Barclay College’s M.A. program and receive a full scholarship to three courses in the fields of Bible and Theology, totaling nine credit hours of the 36 needed to graduate.

Central Christian College Articulation Agreement

Located in McPherson, Kansas, CCC is a private, four-year college offering more than 40 areas of study. All KCC students can transfer courses with a grade of C- or better as general education credits. Students graduating from KCC with an Associate of General Studies degree will be able to transfer into CCC with junior standing, provided they have completed the required courses. Students transferring into the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences will be required to take the class Foundations of Philosophical Thought at CCC.

Central Seminary

KCC students may be dually enrolled with Central Seminary for its Master of Arts in Counseling Program (MACO), beginning in their junior year.

Cleveland University of Kansas City

KCC will offer a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree in partnership with CUKC, allowing students to complete foundational coursework at KCC and then matriculate to CUKC to finish the degree.

Dale Kietzman University

DKU students may complete a joint degree with KCC or have their credits transferred or transcripted at KCC completely.

Hartwell Education (Hartwell Quest and Hartwell University)

Students may complete a joint degree with KCC or have their credits transferred or transcripted at KCC completely.

InterLearn Institute

Students may matriculate to KCC (45 hours accepted for associate’s and up to 60 hours for bachelor’s) or transcript InterLearn courses at KCC by approval and for a fee.

Johnson County Community College

KCC students may apply up to 45 credit hours completed at KCC toward an associate degree at JCCC.

Kansas Independent College Association / Kansas Community Colleges

Students who complete an associate degree through a Kansas community college are exempt from the associate’s level requirements of KICA member schools upon transfer.

MidAmerica Nazarene 2+2 Agreement – Elementary Education

Students can attend KCC for two years for an Associate of Arts in General Studies (elementary ed emphasis) and then transfer to MNU to complete their Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, leading to Kansas teacher licensure.

MidAmerica Nazarene 2+2.5 Agreement – English Language Arts Education

This 2+2.5 agreement allows English education majors to complete two years at KCC and two and a half years at MNU, graduating with a BA in English Language Arts Education and fulfilling licensure requirements.

Newstate University

Newstate University students can transfer to KCC, which accepts Newstate credit for students seeking different majors or a Christian-focused degree.

Oklahoma Wesleyan University

Students and graduates of KCC can apply academic credits earned in the Dual Degree MAT Program at OWU toward KCC bachelor’s degree requirements.

Ottawa University

KCC offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in partnership with Ottawa University, where students complete the associate’s at KCC and then transfer to Ottawa to complete the nursing degree.

Regional Christian University

Students who complete the AA in Biblical Studies at RCU may receive 50 credit hours toward a BA in Leadership & Ministry at KCC. Those with an AA in Christian Education may receive 38 credit hours toward a BA in Elementary Education.

St. James Research Centre

Students may complete a joint degree between SJRC and KCC for faith-based social intervention programming.

Trellis Churches

KCC and Trellis Churches have developed a program for hands-on ministry training and academic coursework, allowing students to prepare for ministry while minimizing debt.

Truman State University

Truman State accepts transfer students from KCC on the same basis as if transferring from a regionally accredited institution.
