The Kansas Christian College Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the selection of Reverend Chad Pollard as the 12th President of the 81-year-old institution located at 74th and Metcalf in Overland Park, Kansas. He will officially assume his duty as President on July 1, 2019.

Mr. Pollard is a graduate of both Overland Christian School (OCS) and Kansas Christian College (KCC). He was raised in a pastor’s home, and is a third generation graduate of the College.  He served as pastor of the Appleton City Church of God (Holiness) (2003-2006) and served as Associate Pastor of the El Dorado Springs Church of God (Holiness) (2006-2010).

In 2010, Mr. Pollard was appointed as Administrator of Overland Christian Schools where he led during a period of tremendous growth.  Under his leadership, OCS attained ACTS Accreditation as well as dual accreditation from the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), an accreditation division of AdvanceED.  While retaining his administrative role at OCS, he was assigned the tasks of KCC Vice-President of Finance & Operations (2016-2019).

Chad Pollard holds a BA in Pastoral Ministry from Kansas City College and Bible School (2003) as well as a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University (2009).  He has been accepted by Columbia International University into the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Organizational Leadership, though he intends to delay starting the program for at least another year.

Chad and his wife Karey, married in 2003, are the parents of four outstanding and talented daughters: Mackenzie (age 12), Myleigh (10), Macie (6) and Madisyn (8 months).

“I am tremendously pleased with the selection of Mr. Pollard as our next president,” said President Delbert Scott, who is retiring after nearly ten years as President. “Chad has a great vision for the school, a tremendous amount of ability, and I am sure he will lead the institution to achieve its mission of training leaders to serve God.”

“On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Kansas Christian College, I am both proud and honored to announce Reverend Chad Pollard as KCC’s next president during this important time for the College,” said Reverend Rodney Davis, chair of the KCC Board. “Chad brings an accomplished career of leadership, combined with a strong appreciation and support of KCC’s mission. Raised in the Church of God (Holiness), Chad has a passion for the distinctiveness of our mission in higher education.”

Respectfully,

Kansas Christian College
Board of Trustees

Dr. Delbert Scott
