The KCC/OCS Drama Department is alive and well! During the spring of 2021, the department put on the play Sarah, Plain, and Tall, directed by Mason Carpenter and Sarah Ross. It was fantastic! The Overland Christian School and Kansas Christian College cast members did an awesome job in their performances. This school year, we have been keeping the activity of the department going with a Theatre class for secondary students, taught by Sarah, and a Drama club led by Mason.

I am thrilled to be working with Mason and Sarah to produce the classic musical by L. Frank Baum, The Wizard of Oz, this spring. We just held auditions this past December, and our rehearsal process is now underway. I am very excited about working with cast members from early elementary to college and beyond. Several students and faculty have agreed to assist us as part of the crew for this production, as well.
Our directorial team is so excited to be bringing this production to you! This is a very big undertaking, and we are looking for sponsors to help us fund this show.
