The Kansas Christian College and Overland Christian School community mourns the loss of alumnus and member of the Board of Trustees, Ken Willard. Ken was a 1966 graduate of Overland Christian High School and served on the KCCBS Board of Trustees from 2012 until the time of his passing late last week. “Not only was Ken a personal friend, but Ken was a valuable voice on the Board and a faithful supporter of Kansas Christian College and Overland Christian Schools. We will miss him greatly, but I’m thankful we have the hope of seeing him again one day in heaven,” said KCC President, Dr. Chad Pollard.
Rev. Rodney Davis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees said, “Ken was a great friend, supporter of the school, and a great Board member. He was a great encourager to me as well. We will miss him.” Please join us in supporting and praying for Ken’s wife, Deanna, and the rest of the family during this time.
The memorial service for Ken Willard will be held at Inspire Church, 4290 N. Monroe, Hutchinson, KS 67502 on Saturday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m. The visitation will be held this evening (Friday, March 1 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.).
