Grandparents Day 2022!
What an incredible day of celebrating our grandparents and guardians! OCS was privileged to have over 80 grandparents show up. We had visitors who flew in from Texas, drove from Indiana, and some who walked in from down the street. Each class from K3 through eighth grade presented a piece that honored grandparents. There was a brief challenge from Mr. Gray on the importance of grandparents and a small gift of flower seeds reminding grandparents of how our children are just like seeds: they need love, support, and encouragement to grow! After the assembly, grandparents could visit their student’s classrooms and then eat lunch together in the cafeteria. It was a great day with lots of positive memories made.
