Since 1938, men and women from across the country and the world have been pouring their lives into Kansas Christian College in an effort to ensure the ministry training of future Christian leaders. They have given time, finances, leadership, service, labor, and prayer in order to facilitate God’s work through the college and its students. Without these faithful servants, KCC would not be able to carry out its mission “to develop servant leaders who know God, who have a passion for holiness of heart, and who are inspired and prepared for a lifetime of learning and kingdom service.”

As a way of honoring those who have given so selflessly to the efforts of the college, KCC has established the Society of the Lighted Torch (SOLT): an honor society into which heroes of KCC, including alumni, past and present faculty, supporters, and other friends of the school are inducted annually and forever celebrated. After the inaugural class was inducted in October 2015, the public nominated new SOLT classes and voted into the SOLT by KCC’s board and administration. The inductees are then honored at an induction ceremony at the annual SOLT Banquet.

We encourage you to come and celebrate with us as we share what God is doing in and through our efforts here a KCC. Along with the SOLT inductions, we’ll also have live music and entertainment, a plated dinner, and reports from current students regarding how God is using KCC and OCS to impact their lives. It promises to be another milestone event in our history!
