My last few years at KCC have flown by. Graduating seemed like it would never happen, but here it is. I’ve learned so much about people and the Church at school. My professors have poured into me and impacted my life far beyond the classroom. They have challenged me to pursue the Lord more intentionally and have helped guide my future decisions.
After reading Letters to the Church by Francis Chan, my wife and I began asking some big questions, “What does the Bible say the Church should be like and are we doing that in our local churches today?” This has brought us on a journey with the Lord leading us to the decision to move to San Francisco.
We Are Church is a church that sets out to answer those questions. They’ve changed the typical church plant model in America. They have decided to start in houses, putting priorities first on meeting every command the Bible says the Church should do, before everything else.
We are excited about this fantastic opportunity and love that we have so many praying for us. It’s because of time at KCC that we can make this huge decision. We are forever grateful for the people that have given their lives to us over these past several years. –Dakota Topping
