Loans and Grants

Kansas Christian College is approved by the United States Department of Education to distribute Title IV Student Aid Programs to qualified students in all of its programs. This includes both Pell Grants and Direct Student Loan Programs.

The federal school code for KCC is 021689.

To qualify for any of the federal programs, students must demonstrate financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can be accessed through the FAFSA website.

All new and returning students must annually establish financial need in order to receive financial aid.

KCC students may apply or be eligible for several types of financial assistance. Please check the KCC Catalog for more details.

Loans

KCC participates in the following varieties of loans:

Direct Subsidized Loans are loans made to eligible undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need to help cover the costs of higher education at a college or career school.

Direct Unsubsidized Loans are loans made to eligible undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, but in this case, the student does not have to demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the loan.

Direct PLUS Loans are loans made to graduate or professional students and parents of dependent undergraduate students to help pay for education expenses not covered by other financial aid.
